Crash troubleshooting: isolate the failure before changing settings
A conservative sequence for launch failures, loading crashes and repeatable in-match problems.
PC requirements: compare the whole system
Read the publisher’s targets without turning a socket name into a performance promise.
Patch 1.0.1: what to review before your next match
A launch-patch checklist for parties, movement and deck preparation.
All troubleshooting routes
Crashes or will not launch
- Identify whether the crash happens before the menu, while loading or during a match. Write down the exact error.
- On PC, compare your OS, memory, graphics card and free SSD space with the requirements guide. Console players can skip this PC check.
- Install the available game update. On PC, use your storefront’s file verification and the GPU vendor’s official driver installer. Change one setting at a time.
- If it persists, collect the version and reproduction steps for official support. Avoid deleting saves as an initial fix.

Party drops or crossplay fails
- Confirm every player has installed the available game update and restarted the game.
- Have one player create a fresh party and retry invitations. Record whether failure occurs during invitations or matchmaking.
- Read the patch notes: version 1.0.1 documented a party-drop fix. That does not prove every connection issue is resolved.
- If the retry fails, check official announcements and provide platform combinations and the exact error to official support.

Challenge progress is not counted
- Match the exact challenge wording to the relevant mode and chapter before repeating an attempt.
- Record the counter before and after one qualifying attempt; note whether the match or chapter was completed.
- Check the installed version and patch notes. A documented chapter-five fix is not a universal fix for all challenges.
- If it repeats, preserve the challenge name, mode, version and reproduction details for support. Avoid resetting your progression.

Unsure about PC specs or edition
- Choose your platform first. Compare PC hardware with both minimum and recommended requirements.
- Treat listed resolution and frame-rate targets as store guidance, not independent performance benchmarks.
- Check the edition guide for content differences, then confirm price and availability in your regional official store.
- For a physical copy, check platform, delivery region and retailer release listing separately from digital availability.

Cards disappeared from my equipped deck
- Check the active Civilian and deck before changing anything.
- Compare equipped duplicates with the two-copy limit documented in 1.0.1.
- Check the collection separately: unequipped does not establish deletion.
- Use owned alternatives and recheck the active deck before spending again.
Perk Deck limit: why cards may be unequipped after 1.0.1 ↗
A Perk card lost its upgraded level
- Identify the same card in your collection and equipped deck.
- Check the temporary upgrade duration shown for that card.
- Compare the before-and-after level and matches played; do not assume a universal duration.
- If the result differs from the displayed terms, keep a record before buying another upgrade.

In-match card choice is late or the menu is stuck
- Separate a delayed first choice from an unresponsive menu.
- Use match progress, not the spendable Perk Points balance, for this comparison.
- Confirm the selected Civilian and equipped deck if a particular card was not offered.
- If the menu freezes, record the previous action and whether other controls respond.
In-match Perk rolls: late first roll, missing card or stuck menu? ↗
A resident stopped moving or vanished from the minimap
- Record the last confirmed location and who was escorting.
- Check whether the destination changed or an escape requirement is unfinished.
- If the resident was hidden, distinguish a missing marker from an observed escape.
- Keep the map, version and exact stopping point when a route issue repeats.
