A PLAN TO TRY
| Replay note | Example of what to record |
|---|---|
| Target | The exact challenge shown in your game |
| Starting point | Displayed progress before the attempt |
| One action under test | The decision you intentionally changed |
| Observed result | Counter change, reward notice, or neither |
| Next attempt | One unanswered question, not a whole new plan |
Choose the reward question first
If your goal is a cosmetic, identify its exact name and the requirement shown in-game. If your goal is chapter completion, keep that separate from collecting every optional item. Trying to solve both without a clear record can produce repeated full runs that answer neither question.
Use an objective ledger
For each attempt, record chapter, visible challenge, difficulty when relevant, starting progress and final result. Add one sentence about the action you were testing. This makes a replay a controlled attempt rather than a vague search for something you might have missed. We do not provide unverified collectible coordinates or hidden-ending recipes.
Distinguish earning, owning and equipping
A reward notification, an owned item and an equipped cosmetic are different observations. After completion, check the relevant character or customization area rather than assuming your current appearance changes automatically. If the requirement looks fulfilled but progress does not update, use the tracking guide to preserve a reproducible report.
One chapter versus the whole story
Steam separates clearing a chapter’s secondary challenges from finishing Story mode. Before replaying, decide which result you are pursuing and record the chapter, missing objective and final result. This gives a more useful troubleshooting record than a general “story completed” note.
