Solo does not answer every connectivity question
Playing alone describes who participates. Offline describes whether the feature works without a connection. Private describes who can enter a match. Do not treat those words as equivalent when choosing what to buy or planning a session without reliable internet. Read the exact mode name in the current game.
Check the features you actually need
List the essentials: starting the selected mode, loading an existing save, recording progress and accessing any platform achievements. A successful start does not verify every later feature. We have not tested every platform’s offline behavior, so this page does not promise complete offline progression or remove a platform’s sign-in requirements.
Prepare before a disconnected session
