A PLAN TO TRY

Passive: read the role and condition

Start with the challenge wording rather than the character portrait. Note whether the category belongs to Michael or Civilians, then record the counter before playing. Automatically tracked means you do not need to invent a separate manual activation step; it does not mean every action in every mode must count. Follow any mode condition the game displays.

Progressive: check the active step

These objectives are associated with particular Civilians, Michael skins or weapon types. Keep the required selection and the active step visible in your notes. A later reward in a sequence is not evidence that its objective is already active. After completion, return to the challenge screen and read the next requirement before changing your setup.

Story: separate the chapter from the wider challenge system

For a story replay, write the chapter and exact optional objective together. Completing a chapter and satisfying every optional condition are different checks. If a reward does not appear, compare the result screen and the installed patch before repeating the whole route. The launch patch documents tracking fixes and continuing outliers; it does not guarantee all objectives are fixed.
