A PLAN TO TRY
| Loadout choice | What to check before a match | What to observe afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Starting traits | Review movement and visibility conditions in the Michael guide. | Were failed approaches caused by timing or exposure? |
| Three abilities | Read each unlocked ability’s current description; name the problem it should solve. | Did it help locate, approach or maintain pressure on a target? |
| Starting weapon | Separate availability and weapon progression from personal preference. | Record missed opportunities with the selected weapon before changing it. |
Give each selection a job
Write one sentence describing the problem your loadout should solve: finding a lost target, approaching unseen, or handling the moment after a chase. Then read what is actually unlocked and available in the current interface. A loadout name from a video is not useful if you cannot identify the decision each selection supports.
Separate access from preference
An unavailable ability may be a progression question, while an equipped ability that feels ineffective may be an execution question. Record the name and visible unlock requirement before trying to solve either. This guide does not provide invented level thresholds, damage values or a complete ability inventory.
Test the same moment
Choose one recurring encounter and compare a single change over several attempts. Note the starting conditions, what you tried and whether the ability answered the intended problem. Keep cosmetic preference separate from performance evidence. A skin can be your favorite without proving it changes the outcome. If a cosmetic is missing, first distinguish Phantom eligibility from ordinary loadout choices.
How should I compare a recommended Michael build?
Keep the map, objective and main tactic as similar as practical. Change one selection, record what happened, and repeat before choosing. A single strong clip cannot tell you how often an option works.
