OFFICIAL FACTS
Killer Sense supports tracking. Official descriptions of Shape Jump differ in how they combine light and sight conditions; check both before treating either as an exact rule.

A PLAN TO TRY
Read the condition before the opportunity
If movement does not behave as expected, examine the environment before assuming a bug. Can someone see your current position or your intended exit? Is there light? Use a quiet practice session to observe the boundary. Avoid relying on a cooldown or distance value unless you can verify it in the current version.
Choose your next question
Use each encounter to answer something specific: how did the target notice you, where did you lose track, or when did you commit too early? A deliberate observation is easier to improve than an entire chaotic round. Record the patch version with any result you plan to share.
Separate a memorable clip from a repeatable plan
A dramatic jump scare may depend on an opponent making a mistake. Before copying a clip, identify its starting position, visibility, and target awareness. Compare those conditions with your match. The useful lesson is the decision that created the opening, not a promise that the same attack always works.
Why the wording matters
The September 2025 darkness article rules out entering or exiting in direct light or a Civilian’s sight. The March 2026 multiplayer overview uses “darkness or outside a resident’s line of sight.” These statements do not establish the same logical condition. Until current-version testing resolves the difference, a cautious practice plan checks both light and visibility rather than presenting either wording as a proven formula.
