Use the objective prompt to identify a useful item

When an escape needs preparation, read its interaction prompt before searching. Tell your teammates what requirement is displayed and which items you already have. A name that sounds relevant is not proof of compatibility with every objective. Coordinate one search plan so that multiple players are not all collecting the same unneeded object.

Repair Kits: quantity changed, route not established

The patch confirms more kits spawn per match, but does not supply a guaranteed address, exact count or complete repair-effect table. Check the live prompt and available supplies. If a repair interaction behaves strangely, record the object, location, held item and game version. That distinguishes a missing prerequisite from an inaccessible interaction.

Separate world loot from starting items and Perk Cards

Loadout starting items, objects found in the world and Perk Cards are different systems. Record where an item came from and read its displayed description before changing your deck in response to an item problem. A perk upgrade does not by itself establish a change to a loose item’s effect. This page is a category reference; it is not a complete named-item database. A lower card level belongs to the temporary upgrade check, not to a loose-item effect table.

What are bolt cutters for?

Steam identifies civilian bolt cutters as tools for removing chains or padlocks. Match the tool to the current obstacle prompt; the achievement description does not establish a fixed pickup location. Note the map and landmark when you find one, then check your escape plan before choosing a detour.
